Since its formation in 2000, Na Fianna has become one of the largest clubs in Meath and continues to thrive at both Adult and Juvenile level. AFL Div 5 Rd 2: Na Fianna Too Strong for St Marys;

St Marys; 2-11

Na Fianna picked up an important away win on Thursday evening when making the long trip to Donore.

A strong first half performance saw Na Fianna holding a 3-07 to 1-06 lead at half time. Cork native Niall Twomey netted his first score for his new club from close range while Ciaran McDonnell and Ben Caldwell netted a goal each.

The home side battled well in the second half but Na Fianna pushed on to run out comfortable winners.

Na Fianna had excellent performances from Rob Walsh, Daniel Devine, Eoin Downey, Cian Slattery, Ciaran McDonnell, Paul Kennedy and Ben Caldwell.
