U21HC Semi-Final: Na Fianna 4-14, Kildalkey 0-10

Championship Final Spot for Na Fianna U21 Hurlers

One of the U21 semi-finals was played in Trim on Sunday in bitter cold conditions. Both Na Fianna and Kildalkey put in a brilliant performance with both teams displaying a serious amount of hurling skills for spectators to enjoy. The scoreline is not a true reflection of the game even though Na Fianna dominated for most of the game,

Na Fianna led by six points at half time. Na Fianna 1-10, Kildalkey 0-07.

Kildalkey did not make it easy for Na Fianna at any stage as they pressured Na Fianna players for the full sixty three minutes. Kildalkey will rue missed chances as they had plenty throughout the game. Na Fianna showed true grit and determination by capitalising on their opportunities with the goals making all the difference.

It was a solid performance by the Na Fianna panel. They will look forward to the final against Ratoath.
