Na Fianna u16 football girls beat Oldcastle

    U16 Girls Football

    Na Fianna 3-7
    Oldcastle 1-11

Na Fianna U16 girls made it 3 wins in a row in Oldcastle last night.
Anyone who has ever brought teams to Oldcastle will know this was some achievement to beat Oldcastle on home turf.

It was a tough, hard match with some very hard tackling but the Na Fianna girls were well prepared and were in excellent from. They never once showed frustration, even though there were many incidents where they could have been forgiven for being frustrated, and they kept their composure at all times. All girls must be credited highly for that.
Na Fianna scored the first point from the throw in and they never relinquished the lead from that point. There was never more than a two or three point difference between the teams at any stage which left both teams supporters on edge right to the very end.

Well done girls, only one home match left in the group stages and that will be against Donaghmore/Ashbourne over the Easter break.
